Services & Fees

At Spirit Horse Counseling, we offer individual counseling services for clients aged 18 and older. Our process begins with an initial intake appointment to understand your unique needs and circumstances. This is followed by a treatment planning session where we will collaboratively discuss the challenges you are facing and set clear, achievable goals for your therapy. Subsequent follow-up counseling sessions will be tailored to support your progress and address your ongoing concerns.

Intake Sessions, this includes the initial assessment & diagnosis - $225

60-minute individual session - $155 per session

I do not currently accept insurance, so all sessions are self-pay. You are entitled to a good faith estimate to understand the costs of therapy. Please see the information below regarding a Good Faith Estimate.

No Surprises Act Disclosure

Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act protects clients from unexpected medical bills. At Spirit Horse Counseling, PLLC, we are committed to transparency and fairness in billing practices. Here’s what you need to know:

Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act

  1. Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under this law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  2. Good Faith Estimate

    • You will receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service, or upon request. This estimate will include the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

  3. Dispute Resolution

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
